Bears Baseball has a new single season leader in homeruns. Sophomore outfielder William Veillon from Rayne, Louisiana has hit 14 homers and has passed Augustin Guzman who hit 13. The record has stood since 2005.

Bears Baseball collected supplies for SOWELA Technical Community College in Lake Charles. SOWELA’s campus was damaged by Hurricane Laura. Some of the Bears will help our administration delivery these and other supplies collected by our school to Lake Charles tomorrow.

The stay at home order is not slowing down Sophomore shortstop Cody Crifasi. Cody transformed his front yard to a makeshift infield to work on some fielding drills. Cody played in 30 games this season with a .224 batting average. He had 17, hits, 12 runs, 10 RBIs and 6 SB.

Comeback Bears do it again! Bears rally in the eighth to take a 5-4 lead off a Tristan Frederick RBI single and John Shahrdar shuts down the Bengals rally in the ninth to secure the win.
These two teams will meet tomorrow March 26 at 6 pm in Eunice, La at Bengals Stadium.

So what do you do when your quarantined in Maringouin. You work out and get better of course. That is exactly what Sophomore Outfielder Nathan Carriere is doing. Nate batted .423 in 18 games this season. He had 22 hits, 12 Runs and 12 stolen bases.

The Louisiana Sports Writers Association announced their 2021 All-Louisiana Collegiate Baseball team. Bears Sophomore Outfielder was named honorable mention. Will played in 49 games with a .347 batting average , 59 hits, 10 doubles, 14 HR, and 58 RBIs.

Hot off the Press! Baton Rouge Bears Baseball 2024 Schedule. The Bears will start their 20 season of baseball on the road at Mississippi Gulf Coast this Saturday Jan 27. The home opener will be Sunday Jan 28 at 2 pm. It will be a historic season with a special group of men.
