Driving at night honestly sucks now if you're anywhere near other traffic. Even with less light spill from LEDs the actual source is so bright (and in the UK, most road markings now so deteriorated) that your trajectory is mostly guesswork until a car has passed.

Cor, someone's spent a few bob making this Clio RSi nice. Bit overlooked alongside the 16v and Williams but still 110bhp and 955kg, 8.9 to 62 per the brochure, so I bet it's still fun

It's mad that despite all the advances in media, the easiest I found it to follow WRC was when I was in sixth form in the early 2000s. ISC had a website where you could track individual cars during a stage, and there was a 60min highlights show every night on terrestrial TV.

NEC classic car show today. Immaculate 90s coupes a bit of a trend in the dealer area. E36 318i is £11k, Celica £9k, Puma £7k, and E46 323Ci is £9k. Quite a wedge for each but probably not many of any in quite such good nick.

The Mazda’s back! First drive since June. Most of the work was underneath but quite a bit of the topside has been repainted too. Luckily, the contrast to the unpainted bits (bumpers, bonnet, tailgate) isn’t as stark as I was expecting.

Crikey, used I-Paces are now in the low 20s. I'm sure that comes with a few caveats and the range lags behind a lot of brand new things, but seems like a lot of car for the money, particularly when there are superminis up around £30k
