This makes me happy. For 3.5 years I got to see Giant Squid put *everything* into making this game. They really believed in it and dug deep to try and make something remarkable. My goal with the music was to rise to their level, and hopefully do justice to their artistry.

One of my favorite qualities of Alan Wake 2 was feeling like I was playing a Lynch world. Few games have ever captured that particular feeling, but yet wasn't mindlessly derivative of Lynch either and just trying to be a clone.
I’m shocked and very sad 😭😭😭. David Lynch has been a huge inspiration to me and a huge influence on my work. Rest in peace.

Today, 89 years ago, a young kid with some considerable musical talent, eventually playing piano for some prominent composers before being given a chance of his own. Not too long after he used 2 notes to portray a shark and 7 for the Force and humanity hasn't been the same since.

It blows my mind that ANDOR exists. It's pure atmosphere, methodical pacing, cold realistic depiction of authoritarianism, believable characters. It's so wildly different from the rest of Disney era SW. I can't remember the last time I looked forward to new episodes this much.

This is SUCH a huge point. Most of my heroes didn't hit their stride until late 30s or well into 40s. Ennio Morricone: scored GOOD BAD UGLY at 39. Same age as Goldsmith / PLANET OF THE APES. Williams: scored STAR WARS at 45. Elfman: BATMAN at 36, atypically young!. Etc etc etc.
