Mind-blowing, isn’t it?
@AmericanAir
is paying Flight Attendants wages that were negotiated in 2014, yet found the cash to offer bonuses to upper management for successfully navigating the COVID pandemic- as if they did it all alone, without us.

It’s astonishing that American Airlines, who made $2.6 billion in profits, hasn’t given workers a raise since 2019.
I told them the same thing I told the UAW workers – make them pay until they pay you what you deserve.

Today marks 65 years of flying for DCA-based Flight Attendant Bette Nash. Bette began her career in 1957 with Eastern Airlines. Congratulations, Bette, on this career milestone!
Flight attendants at American Airlines are nearing the end of a strike authorization vote.
They've gone without a raise since 2019 and aren't paid until the door to the plane closes.
Now 26,000 workers are fighting for more, and we talked to one about life on the job.
