But Altuve’s OPS and/or wRC+ is way better so far, so that his offensive stats make up his defensive stats like UZR. And if he is gonna play another 3, 4 years like he has been doing, he will surpass Ichiro both in bWAR and in fWAR, ending up somewhere between 60 to 70.

But if you don't consider the circumstances and just focus on the stats, I agree that Altuve is better. Ichiro has achieved great things like 3000 H, 500 SB (only 6 other players have done it both), 262 H (all-time record), 181 IBB and so on.

I was at work. Now to your question: I don't agree on comparing them because Ichiro made his debut with 27 due to the posting system, while Altuve is playing since 21, 22 years so it's a bit unfair to compare them I guess.
