Having children is the most meaningful thing you can do with your life. Intellectuals and creatives can't accept this because it means their vocations aren't supremely meaningful and any fool can have a more worthwhile life. But it's true and all the counterarguments are cope.

extraordinarily proud that my colleagues @columlrev and I were able to develop this exceptional Article on the Nakba and the need for more precise legal concepts in discussing world-shaping violence.

so what is the remedy? besides--apartheid is, i think, the least of Israel's violations of international law; they have been extraordinarily explicit about their genocidal intent

International Court of Justice advisory opinion on Israel’s regime in the occupied Palestinian territory: colonisation, annexation, racial discrimination, denial of self determination. Israel’s presence is unlawful. Restitution, reparation, dismantlement of the settlements/wall.

it's cool or interesting that law schools offer courses on crt/race but my experience is that law students, being narrow thinkers and deeply self-interested, cannot have very interesting or transformative conversations about race and i would rather take blackletter law

will never forget when my 6th grade teacher said "tomorrow is clash day. apparently it means you should wear clothes that don't go together. but when I look around, it seems like you all treat every day as clash day."
