In the 90s I was staunchly an 80s U2 fan because War was my all time favorite album.
However, looking back now I realize that I actually play 90s U2 more than anything else: Achtung Baby, Zooropa, and Pop get the most love!

Dallas was handing out pics last night and ran out right before he got to me (which is fine, I have 2, I'm good) but instead I wanted a photo with him so I asked. He replied, "Sure! No one ever asks for a photo with me." 😭💚

I loved seeing Dave rock out. Back in the early 90s Nirvana was my second favorite band after U2. (After Kurt died I couldn't listen to them for a very long time.) My inner teenager was freaking out seeing him up there. 🥰

Having been in GA for opening night, the 100s for second night, & now 300s for tonight, I can safely say that the visuals are definitely better in the 300s. However, I will always be a GA girl. I missed being in the pit & close to the band, but I did very much enjoy the screens.

Last night I had GA, tonight I had section 107 & I gotta say it's a really different show from the seats. Amazing to see all the imagery on the screens & stage. I highly recommend getting seats at least once. Another brilliant show!

Last night was everything I hoped it would be. I was dead center floor Bono 1-2 people from the rail, surrounded by very cool, friendly fans, and got so much Bono eye contact I could melt.

One year ago, I made the trek to NYC to see Bono at the Beacon Theatre. I was full of heartbreak bc that was after my book had been cancelled and I was desperately seeking anything to fill my soul and raise me up out of a pit of despair.

Rumor has it Sphere Entertainment offered U2 a huge amount of money to do more shows at the new venue (possibly as many as 35) but Bono declined.
The band's residency is set to end on March 2nd.

Having a super hard time coming back to reality today. I have to start prep work on a class I'm teaching this week but I cannot focus. I just lectured my non-U2 husband on why 11/3 was such a significant show and how lucky I was to experience it and be able to share it with you.
