In Japanese, the month comes before the date, so 8/9.
8 can be read as "hachi" from which the first syllabe is taken, so "ha", and 9 can be read as "ku", which gives us "haku"... making it the .hack day :)

Their hair and clothes are different, but actually their makeup too!
Atoli has a natural look, while Shino has modest lipstick and cool eyeshadow. Small details make the difference!

In the PS2 days, level grinding was normal, but during test plays of .hack//G.U. Last Recode nobody took the time to do so!
Probably because games these days are so fast paced. That's why parameters have been adjusted to match everyone's modern pace.

A lot of the original PS2 movies couldn't be used in the remaster of .hack//G.U.
The same scenes had to be recreated from scratch for a lot of the data. This scene was one of them...

During the remastering of the movie scenes for .hack//G.U. Last Recode, things that weren't visible on PS2 became visible because of the change in resolution.

I'd really like to see a remaster, or sequel, of Parasite Eve. I enjoyed its turn-based action RPG system and story. How about you? This is the game that made me learn what mitochondria is for my biology classes :) And who didn't love the amazing music composed by Yoko Shimomura!

The CC2 staff drew the desktop backgrounds.
Once implemented, an art exhibition was held on the game screen with all the staff that drew them.
There were tons of artists outside of the dev team, and all were elated to see their art in their beloved game.

This Solatorobo: Red the Hunter button badge (don’t know if that’s the correct name for this type of badge) passed through the ages with some damage… I got this from WAKA, a few weeks after joining CyberConnect2 when I was in Fukuoka. I would have loved to work on that title!

These were changed and adjusted multiple times until being perfect. Imagine the number of enemies defeated in the process...

Seiichiro Hosokawa, CC2's character designer, had a unique style of drawing the character's ankles extremely thin during the PS2 days. Director Hiroshi Matsuyama even told him it was way too much!

During development of .hack//G.U. Last Recode, review sessions were held 5 times to check over parameters and adjustments.
The same time and effort has been put into it as it would have been done for a new game. It was not just about making it look better!

Today is the birthday of my little brother, Peter, who passed away on April 28, 2019 at the age of 35, from a rare cancer (extraskeletal myxoid chondrosarcoma). Due to its rarity and lack of knowledge, treatments were limited, and its location made no surgery possible. (1/7)

Haseo's movement speed was sped up in .hack//G.U. Last Recode to have an easier time moving around!
It's much better in the dungeons where you can't ride the steam bike. You can therefore breeze through the game!

Sometimes I'm wondering why I do or try to do so much for localization, when in the end the priority goes to other stuff, thus meaning that not many people care about localization, be it the publisher, developer, or players. I have the feeling I'm only going on for myself...

In the PS2 version, the texture quality gets better for some characters from volume to volume.
In .hack//G.U. Last Recode, the quality has been standardized through all volumes, so character's faces are a little different from the originals!

People are amazing! Actually back then we had a card game published in one of our Solotorabo fan books, and here someone translated it into Russian, colored it, printed it out, and played it! So beautiful!
On a side note, I recommend you our fan books, so many stuff in there!

Man... Dragon Ball is one of the anime I watched and enjoyed the most during my childhood. So many epic fights and memories. I believe many people will continue to enjoy the series for hundred of thousands years to come. Rest in Peace.
