Johnson wants high numbers of cases to justify a pandemic so he can use emergency powers bypassing parliament. If there is no pandemic then he has to put lockdowns etc before parliament and not do it during recess. He doesn't like being accountable, much prefers his dictatorship.

British Justice is almost paling into insignificance.
Time we at least had one prison regarded as harsh and bring back capital punishment for grooming and rape, under age rape and repeat rape offenders.
