I've been saying that for years. If once CHOOSES to cover their hair, dress modestly, whatever in observance of their religion, I support it. Orthodox Jewish women wear wigs, or hats or tichels. Sikh men wear turbans. So if a Muslim woman WANTS to wear a hijab, that's fine.

My rabbi, when he came to my house nearly 9 years ago after my mom died, noticed we didn’t have a mezuzah and he went back to his car, with a mezuzah and screws and a screwdriver and installed it, saying the prayers. Yes he’s a rabbi but that was so meaningful.

I see the videos here on X of the people in Gaza moving to a humanitarian zone again. Part of me feels empathy. Some of these people must actually want peace, right? I’m not someone who takes pleasure in others’ suffering. Surrender. Release the hostages and lay down your arms.

We don't. They could be anywhere in the world now, probably smuggled out of the tunnels through Egypt. Of course hindsight is 20/20 but Rafah/Egypt border should have been the first place the IDF went to close off any potential escape routes.
