This is me & my wee shop which I opened in 2015. Each year I've been proud to go from strength to strength but this year has been tough with customer spend really down. The festive season is so important for indie shops - if you can support us in any way it's hugely appreciated🥰

The CCTV is very clear that they stole quite a lot of items and the police have acknowledged that. I was angry at the time but now I'm just disappointed they couldn't be identified and charged.

Hi! Sometimes I have to pinch myself that this is my shop & it has been open for over 7 yrs 😱!

Another step closer! Davy my window cleaner came & cleaned the outside & inside shop windows 🤩! It felt good to have the shutters up again, especially in the sunshine 😃. I also made a start on the dusting inside - 16 weeks of dust is a lot to contend with😯!

We've been busy today getting the shop ready for reopening on Fri. Clare worked hard to get the festive windows done while I dealt with online orders & put stock out! We went out halfway through for some fresh air & to stretch our legs with a walk around Cathkin Park. Suzi! 💛

So today the insurance loss adjusters came out to see the full extent of the water damage. Thankfully they confirmed that my insurance will cover everything - as you can imagine that's a huge relief (although it will never make up for the stress & for being forced to close again)
