It always felt like there was a parallel or comparison drawn between Chaewoon and Yeongsil. We're shown Yeongsil cannot do for Jayu what Chaewoon can. In the end, Jung Yeongsil failed her, but Woo Chaewoon did not - regardless of how you interpret the ending.
