I love #BloodFree for the fact that it gave us Yun Jayu. My adoration for this woman knows no boundaries. Probably one of my favourite female characters of all time - though I understand why Han Hyo Joo had to drink a glass of wine every night after playing her.

Yun Jayu, you're a woman in love. I don't know how much more obvious it can be short of the show screaming "look at this romance". Jayu, who started off as a cold, detached individual with barely any personal connections, is clearly missing Chaewoon. #BloodFree

The fact that Chaewoon specifically needed Jayu to give her word, that it implies promises are important to her. A throwback to when she insisted that he keep his promise and get treatment. And the way these promises were meant to keep each other safe. #BloodFree

I always wondered what was going through Chaewoon's mind at this point - how it felt to finally accomplish the sole mission he was on to come back to this scene. Did he realize then he had more than one mission? Did he feel as though he sacrificed one for the other? #BloodFree

@stoieh They devoted themselves to their goal/promise &there was no stopping them. When they both wake up& if there’s a season2, his next mission in life is to keep Jayu safe, like he promised to her. He has almost d-worded 2x & k-worded many times to protect her. I would love to see it.

It always felt like there was a parallel or comparison drawn between Chaewoon and Yeongsil. We're shown Yeongsil cannot do for Jayu what Chaewoon can. In the end, Jung Yeongsil failed her, but Woo Chaewoon did not - regardless of how you interpret the ending. #BloodFree

Onsan or Chaewoon for Jayu? The difference being that Onsan abhors violence, yet you cannot simply turn a blind eye to the violence in Jayu's life. Chaewoon, on the other hand, faces it head-on instead of hiding and shields her from it. #BloodFree

The way neither of them dared to look each other in the face for the entire conversation. The only time Jayu fully faced Chaewoon was when his back was towards her - and that boundary/avoidance of eye contact gives this scene more of an intimate, vulnerable feel. #BloodFree

Until we're given a conclusive ending, it's up to the audience interpretation - did they move Jayu's consciousness to Chaewoon's body or are they separate and alive? As a small level of comfort, based on the sequence of scenes, Chaewoon's last thought was of Jayu. #BloodFree

There's something to be said about getting Yeongsil to read Chaewoon's message. Jayu reaches out to Yeongsil when she's emotionally struggling, and this is no exception. It's empty, it's lonely, and she's trying to get Yeongsil to fill in the gap Chaewoon left behind. #BloodFree

Perhaps due to all the constant death threats, Jayu never really had time to recover from the major incident. Despite the facade she puts on, she is as skittish as Chaewoon is calm and composed. Having him by her side probably feels like an anchor in a storm. #BloodFree

Probably will fangirl a little more over HHJ and JJH this week, then do a BloodFree rewatch since I've fallen down the rabbit hole and can't get back up - either until they announce the second season or I run out of steam - so just a heads up there might be more ramblings. 🤷‍♀️

Compared to the panic attack/oncoming PTSD episode she had in Chaewoon's home. How she had to shut the door before collapsing, still trying to maintain that barrier. How she lied that she wasn't alarmed but Chaewoon clearly wasn't fooled. #BloodFree

There is so much more to write about, but my heart started bleeding and won't stop, so that's it for now. Wherever you are, Yun Jayu, I hope you find your happy ending. You deserve that and so much more. Han Hyo Joo, hats off to you for pulling off such an exceptional role.

I like how the drama shows every time Onsan witnesses violence, he gets squeamish. Perhaps that's why his relationship with Jayu never really went anywhere. So much of Jayu's life is lodged in violence, and he couldn't stand with her in the face of it. #BloodFree

But who am I kidding? I would take anything just to experience Yun Jayu again and for that sliver of chance to get a happy ending. At least Mihyun from Moving reunited with her family, but Jayu is still suffering. 🤷‍♀️ #BloodFree

Based on what we've heard about the reception of #BloodFree and the massive budget to create it, it's almost unlikely that would be a second season, but as long as nothing is confirmed, there's still a chance. That said, a second season still doesn't guarantee a happy ending.

It's also hilarious how the host keeps trying to move to the next topic, but Hyojoo isn't letting it go and Jihoon is bent on defending himself to the death. Their conversation just keeps going until the host tells him to go watch Moving after the session ends. 😅 #BloodFree

If he thought of that method on the fly, it's impressive. Hyojoo rating their chemistry as 12/10 & stating it's because he's handsome was fun as well. They've mentioned the unusually strong chemistry quite a few times now. Wonder how it ranks in their history of acting partners.

An unserious theory that the slightly awkward shyness between Jihoon and Hyojoo - maybe due to less familiarity and HHJ keeping in character often - is key to the chemistry that they mention so frequently. 😶‍🌫️

Yun Jayu, you're a woman in love. I don't know how much more obvious it can be short of the show screaming "look at this romance". Jayu, who started off as a cold, detached individual with barely any personal connections, is clearly missing Chaewoon. #BloodFree

Jayu is someone naturally suspicious of others due to circumstances. While I understand the closeness of their relationship was "engineered" in some way by purposeful events created by others (e.g., PM), I believe it was Chaewoon's genuine sincerity that won Jayu over. #BloodFree

Quite a lot to unpack in these scenes. How Jayu depends heavily on Jungsil - an AI assistant who cannot betray her - yet Jungsil is unable to help with her PTSD. How she requested Jungsil to lock the door so no one would come in and find her struggling. @BloodFree

She's been pushed into a corner time and time again, and Chaewoon ended up being someone she found solace in. Perhaps she saw reflections of a broken soul similar to her own. That, and I'm quite certain, a natural physical attraction (as Hyojoo has admitted). #BloodFree

I like the mention of the bond between them that others have noticed. For one, Jayu isn't someone who easily trusts or opens up. This bond is something that Onsan noticed (breakfast scene, surgery scene), the driver/bodyguard (jealousy regarding their closeness)-- #BloodFree

An accurate timeline of events would be nice as well as a full analysis of her character. How she warmed up to Chaewoon in what seems like such a surprisingly short amount of time, how it feels as though she has grown to be so dependent on him. #BloodFree

Whereas later in Chaewoon's home, what we see (and he sees) is through a partially translucent barrier. While outsiders still do not have full access to Jayu's inner life, there is now a glimpse into her struggles - specifically for Chaewoon. #BloodFree

I can see how Jayu treats Chaewoon differently from the rest. But with Chaewoon, because of how his character is written, I can never tell if he does things out of his commitment to his duty or if it's something more. Perhaps the last two episodes will make that clear for us.

@stoieh The way she lets herself be vulnerable around him is heart-clenching in a way. Their lingering stares and the physical tension makes its so obvious to everyone around them that they have a unique special bond. Their affection for each other is just undeniable.
