I have zero opinion on this case/the accusations primarily because I don't know anyone involved. Still, I think it's really important to remember that abusive people can be charismatic and kind, and it's entirely possible (usually the case) that an abusive person is nice to you

we were ~45m late taking off because there were people in their seats ready to go who were pulled from the flight - they bought their flights earlier and cheaper and their seats were being reassigned to others who paid more and bought their tickets in recent days. insane.

My guess is the story relies not only on the ability to make phone calls but the features of a smartphone. A mobile phone to a young generation is really synonymous with a small computer in your pocket, rather than a device that makes and receives calls and maybe play the snake

years ago I was living in NZ and my housemate had never seen or heard of Neverending Story. I downloaded it and we watched it, then I realised it's actually a pretty emotionally heavy story and I didn't know what to say when we finished it lol
A fun part of being Gen X is rewatching all the movies we loved as kids and then realizing 85 percent of them were completely inappropriate for kids.
