i've been getting into some real environment modeling for ottergame now, and reminding myself to plan things out (drawing maps, doing little thumbnail paintings, etc.) has made it feel a lot more surmountable. making convincing spaces is hard lol

it's both - some of it is baked in the animations, some of it is dynamic scaling that's applied based on velocity changes

hey - I do think about it sometimes, but the game was pretty disconnected and it would still take some effort to make a build usable or playable. It's effort I'd rather be spending on my new stuff atm

it's a blendshape - a sprite wouldn't work 100% because the base of his hair needs to stay anchored to his head
