Ryan placed first in the 200 and when he got his medal he went to give it to the kid's coaches and asked them give it to him. Ryan Wingo is a great athlete but a better person.

Today during the track meet an athlete from a school in Ohio had to leave because his dad had a major heart attack at the track and they were unable to revive him. Ryan Wingo lost the open 100 to him earlier today.

We couldn’t be prouder of alum Lucas Rackers. Over the summer, he beat cancer and today ran his first race since chemo, a 28:00 8K. Way to go Big Rack!

We are forever grateful for Coach Tom Flanagan. He has been a part of 5 cross country state titles and numerous MCC titles. He is a servant leader who has always showed that he cared for his athletes as people first, and runners second. Thank you Coach!

Our runners took 2nd place today, in a very fast and talented field. Although we had higher hopes for the day, we are incredibly proud of Noah, Lucas, Adam, Joe, Peter, Ryan, and Grant, not only for their effort today, but for their ceaseless dedication and passion all season.

Based on our research, we believe that Jackson Miller's 15:17 5k today might be the fastest freshman time in Missouri history, and his 6th Place is the best freshman finish in the largest boys class since Chris Zinn, 4th in 1980, and Chad Williamson, 4th in 1989, both WP Zizzers.

2nd Place! In a strange, but amazing turn of events, we had no all-state runners today, but a 15-second scoring spread between our 1 and 5 runners secured our runner-up finish. This result would never have been possible without an incredible effort from all seven of our athletes!

Fourth place finish puts us back on the podium! In a really fast race, we averaged our best-ever 16:00 and scored 116 points behind the winning score of 77. Three All-Staters with Grant in 11, Sean in 16, and Baker in 23 - tied for the most we have ever had.
