Dheema was not feeling well today with a stomach pain. Doctor gave an injection to make her feel better. After taking a rest she still managed to win against Turkmenistan 3-1 in round of 128 to reach round of 64 in singles event.
In doubles Rafa & Dheema beat Mauritius 3-2. The win is sweet when you play against host supporters and winning after losing first 2 sets

Absolutely gutted to see Rafa lose QF match 4-3 against Sri Lankan no.1 but at the same time very happy that history has changed. Sri Lanka is the second powerhouse in the region after India & to be able to climb upto their level is truly a remarkable achievement.
@AhmedMahloof
As someone who has being involved in the development of table tennis, I can guarantee that the assistance TTAM received from the govt this past year is the most compared to the previous years. Thank you
@ibusolih
@AhmedMahloof
and all the Maldivians who has supported us.
1/2 Congrats Dheema for winning the silver medal and getting the chance to perform at even a higher level which is the world Hope tournament. Top 2 players are qualified so Maldives presence at the world stage is something TTAM have never dreamt of in the past.
Thank you
@AhmedMahloof
for meeting Dheema who won gold medal and TT team who participated in Regional Hopes tournament. As discussed in the meeting, TTAM needs a proper training facility similar to Ekuveni to achieve more success.
It’s the same sentiments back then. Results were seen when money was spent for
@SaaidKalhey
4 years training in the same place as the fastest man in the world trained. Had funds been allocated back then, Maldivian’s could have seen gold medals much earlier I guess.
Football team are supporting

Their support along with all other Maldivians back at home is highly appreciated 🙌🙏💪🇲🇻

@AhmedMahloof
Thank you for being with the team in shouting, cheering and supporting all the way to the final point.
Can’t agree more. The support given to Table Tennis by govt HEP
