To be fair, the guy has a licensing agreement that goes through several layers of bureaucracy. Even if he focused his entire on performing the unpaid labor of trying to get the Globe to physically print a retraction, it still wouldn't happen for at least a few days. Which sucks!

At the core of ALL anti-AI stuff is the very basic argument that we shouldn't outsource the most basic expressions of our genuine humanity to machines.
Let the machines do the boring labor, so humans can enjoy the hard work of making art. Not the other way around.
At the core of a lot of the anti-AI stuff is an argument no one really wants to say out loud: ‘it should be harder to do things’.
tbh I don’t think this argument is entirely without merit, I think friction is good in some processes. but let’s be upfront about what we’re saying.
