@matthewtoomer
Matt, 73 of 200 countries still criminalise homosexuality - that's one third.
LGBT people are still prejudiced on every day.
The Stonewall riots of 1969 are over but that pride is still there. It's important to continue protesting for global equality and end discrimination.
@awkvanmills
I think:
- Anyone should be able to play anyone
- Some people may not want to come out but still want to be an actor. Not everyone or everywhere is 100% accepting
- Other people's sexuality is private information, no one should have to reveal it to land roles based on sexuality
@awkvanmills
I agree that LGBT+ actors need to be given the same opportunities that straight actors are, and that we need more LGBT+ representation by LGBT+ actors generally, however, for me, hiring actors is more about who is the best fit for the role regardless of their sexuality.
@owenwilliam99
This is quite a selfish view of things; wearing masks and social distancing helps protect others, not just yourself. COVID hasn't magically disappeared, we should still take precautions i.e. good hygiene. It's a deadly virus. If we all ignore that, we're sending thousands to die.

Year 7, really? That's ages 11-12. Average age puberty starts is 8-13 years, 9-14 boys.
So a typical teen don't finish puberty until age 15.
At my school everyone was still a virgin until college / year 12 / age 16-17. You can't legally give consent before 16 anyway.
@tyzyn
agreed:
crime doesn't define the person
reporting this way gives no room for improvement, even though people aren't infallible, and not everything is their fault
gives undue attention on punishment and not enough on rehabilitation
glorifies policing for attention

Literally just create a file called .nomedia on Android and it'll hide an entire folder by default from most apps.
A friend told me if you put that file on the root folder it'll make your phone turn invisible 👀

Ones I do use though:

Flesh out/Skeleton
Deliverables (tangible kit)

Fire fighting (bad practice though)

Not necessarily, I think you're missing the point. The 'agenda' is really about making sure that LGBT+ people get equal access to roles *regardless* of their sexuality, not because of their sexuality.
Plus, I wouldn't only hire someone just because of their personal experience.
@TopherHarrison_
@jjajmor
Most of that has been that way for years. What's new is:
The number of food banks
Waiting lists for the NHS
Cost of living (fuel, energy, food)
People starving and freezing to death
Businesses closing
Human rights being revoked
Xenophobia
Fake news
Sewage in lakes, beaches
I still have some more Steam codes to giveaway, which I will do tomorrow (Boxing day), see the updated list below.
I will give away two randomly selected games per randomly selected person. To enter, just like this tweet and follow this account! Good luck!

But what if that pregnancy was going to kill the mother? What if she can't support a child? What if she's underage? What if the child will have a poor quality of life?

If you didn't think that Parasite was good, you didn't really get it. The film is really about inequality, and how corrupt and unfair the world actually is, especially to those in poverty.

cloud storage is just hard drives and ssds that live in a room full of computers. it's not unlimited, and it's very real. it costs money to pay for and power and maintain those disks and computers.
consider some cheaper cloud storage too:
@radi0silence0
What is the real concern here?
Alice writes both TV and comics.
She admits not everything in comics works for the screen. But so far the additions and changes felt entirely plausible and in the spirit of the comics, to someone who has read all the comics.
@Ethan_LMP
The Vlinx is a modern humanoid equivalent of K9 or Mr Smith, really - both beloved characters. A robot companion with good quips. K9 had more charm and character, I think the dislike for Vlinx comes from that so far it feels like a shoehorn-in rather than fully established.

Dec did do a year of shows without Ant while Ant was in rehab - Dec did a great job on his own. He could do it by himself, but the banter and friendship between them is hilarious and unbreakable.

Imagine putting a tiny little plastic duck in your bath - it will float, because to sink, it needs to be very heavy. If you swap it for a brick, it'll sink.
On the ocean, there is just so much water around pushing back up that only something as big as a continent would sink.
Now with Spyro and MediEvil on the planned list for PS4 remaster, they join their fellow remasters and continuations of their series from their PS1 origins

Code comes with a manual so it acts predictably. If your code doesn't work today, you can try again tomorrow.
People neither come with a manual, nor act predictably, nor give you second chances.

That's kind of the point though, they add a time limit because if everyone had plenty of time to prepare, it would be harder to judge. Part of the fun & judging is to see who crumbles under pressure, who melts under a little heat, and who rises to the challenge.

Dressing androgynously or regardless of stereotypes and gender roles is not queerbaiting. Anyone can wear whatever their want regardless of their sexuality.

I tried both ways, one after another with the two halves.
Jam on top tastes better.
If you put the cream on top, it severely dulls the tangy, sweet taste of the jam so much that you might as well only have cream.

That's an extremely ill-informed and baseless opinion about what being trans, or having gender dysphoria really means.

Why do you get to decide someone's gender? Or their sexuality, religion/belief, or ethnicity? They are all things you can't change about yourself and you don't have a choice in saying what they are.
@thatotherharry
They wanted to show everyone having fun. Wilf has an affinity for guns: there's the paintball gun he used on a Dalek, and there's the gun he gave the Doctor in End of Time. So it's not farfetched he was out shooting pests by day, watching the stars by night.
@MattBellassai
She was literally fine 2 days ago signing in the new prime minister!
For real though, most people thought she would live for many years to come. Press have done a good job of making it seem like everything was normal, but reading between the lines you know she's not been well.

In the Bean movie, he works at an art gallery watching the paintings
In the animated series, his job is never shown, so it's highly suggested he's on benefits, as he is often very poor. However he miraculously has a lot of money in a few episodes to pay for a crushed car.

I believe that it helps 10 + 14 think, to operate the console. Like a fidget spinner.
11 used to play a lot with the sonic screwdriver - there are many scenes when he's not really doing anything with it.
@EdGambleComedy
England is slowly sinking into the Channel anyway, and Scotland is rising up. This is not meant to be politically suggestive, it's a geological process, and climate change isn't helping either. London might be underwater 80 years from now.
@14YoureOver
It really didn't gel well. It was an unearned judgement, just came completely out of the blue with no weight or precursor behind it besides a political statement.
It also does feel biased, the idea that men literally can't understand women.
It's gatekeeping.

Exactly. Science isn't meant to be pretty to get its message across. DiCaprio himself is objectified because of his appearance.

I wouldn't assign MBTI to being conservative at all. Although I take it with a pinch of salt, MBTI has helped me understand myself and others a lot - more than any other analysis. And I'm basically centre-left.

Not just exploitation but also misuse of its staff, overbearing regulations and red tape, greed, and underutilised technology.

Pretty sure that for assured shorthold tenancy agreements tenants legally need 24h notice unless it's for an agreed repair, this is part of the How to Rent guide and legally would be a breach of tenancy agreement.
Really hope that

remake MediEvil 2 for the PlayStation. I love both 1 and 2 just as much as each other really, they are so fun to play. The weapons, characters, locations, bosses - gothic London is just as spellbinding as Gallowmere.
@TheBrookeDoctor
I didn't see the hints, and I should have seen them. There were plenty. I think I get caught up in trying to understand the mechanics, that I miss the clues sometimes. I guess I wasn't expecting it to be there and got so caught up with the main plot I missed this.
@freddymcconnell
Don't get me wrong, I am all for tearing up any rules and definitions we have and defining things properly, but in this case, we are talking about a biological process that is fundamental in nature, and therefore, XX and XY (mother and father) may be insensitive, but accurate.
@BierIncognito
Quit your job??? 🤷
Or just take sick leave?
Union can't do anything in this case.
You have to take it to HMRC (His Majesty's Royal Corgis) who can easily be bribed with biscuits. Corruption is unparalleled.

I really thought they were gonna cover both volumes 3 + 4, I was getting ready to have my heart wrecked by the ED storyline. Maybe it's a good thing they're stretching it out, maybe not. The episode titles gave it away though early on
Was so cool to see

Discussing virtue signalling of pride by corporations, transphobia, gay awakening from pop culture, life as a gay, and what pride is really about.

@freddymcconnell
Hi Freddy, I support you, but I'm afraid with my current understanding (please correct me), I have to admit there is currently a line between sex and gender. While I fully respect that being transgender is valid, scientifically, sex and parenthood are, unfortunately, static.
@BritishBakeOff
Jürgen you're an amazing baker, you've been a star baker several times too! I've been really rooting for you and I simply know you could have won it. I'm surprised you didn't make it to the final, but you are still a consistently excellent and natural baker. Best future wishes!
@disneyplus
Good, but also, please follow up on representative stories for major film releases. Having the short "Out" and having Love Victor on Disney+ is great, but we want to see things like a gay prince we can be proud of. You can do it, but choose not to. Please take that leap of faith.
@NoisyMV
@ItsMatt_Again
Sorry but it looks to me like these protestors have disarmed and are assaulting police officers. That is a very serious offence. How else are police officers meant to get back their equipment? By asking politely? Without further context, this violence seems justified.

In your bath, a boat compared to the size of the ocean would be like a small button.
The shape of the object also takes effect as much as the weight - a larger surface area means the water can push back more. A super flat object would float very easily.
@AshleaSimonBF
You call life-affirming surgery butchering?
What about having wisdom teeth removed? Appendix? Tonsils? Laser eye surgery? Having fitted a pacemaker, ear aids, amputation to save a limb, or using a prosthetic?
Trans surgery is transhumanism just like everything else I said.
@soleilik
Monogamy is rare in other species. Who's to say we're meant to be monogamous?
The human brain is also hard wired to desire new experiences. After a while of the same thing, we get bored.
Open relationships can be far healthier than some very toxic monogamous relationships.
