Visited Goravanahalli Mahalakshmi temple, with my then 3+ yr old. As it was not that far from Bangalore we carried only snacks. By the time we finished darshan kid was super hungry and there were hardly any eateries around. 1/3

Hearing us talk in Konkani, a young vatu came up to us and asked us to partake of prasada oota, about which we had not known. I was in tears of gratitude while having one of the tastiest prasada I had. I still feel it was Vamana himself who directed us that day. 🙏🥺2/3

My classmate's mother had taken a vow on behalf of her son, to follow this tradition. So every year, he'd shave his thick moustache, buy a new saree, and get decked out in makeup, jewellery and flowers... gorgeous 😍

If you ask for full tank or say 20 litres, they fill up about 4or 5 litres n say pump has stopped, distract you in some way...then start without taking the counter to 0. Then add the 1st amount they showed you, to the present amount n ask you to pay.

often and have found most of the drivers very patient. Everyone wants to cut across buses, esp 2W. Autos n 2W parked at bus stops force buses to stop in the middle of the road for which the drivers get abused. At some point, it all becomes too much?
