Today my co-teacher surprised our students with an ice cream truck to practice the skill of ordering for themselves and making change! They were so excited being able to choose whatever ice cream they wanted. Such fun activity! The smiles were priceless!

Period poverty is a real thing. So many students do not have access to hygiene products. This is an amazing initiative. We have a Care Cart in our room filled with feminine hygiene, deodorant, and dental products. Students shop from the cart when they need things. It’s well loved
We’re putting pads and tampons in our schools so girls don’t have to miss class and they can focus on learning.
