Wow. I love Vernon/Woodbank park in Stockport. I’ve just had a great walk and then find a drum kit on the bandstand for everyone to have fun on. Whoever put that there I thank you. Been years since I played. Miss it so much. And to play on that bandstand was always a little dream

I was 18 at Newcastle studying Fine Art. I went to the library and stood in line with other students who had books. I had no books. I walked up to the photocopier. Put my head on it and pulled down the lid. Got my prints and walked away. No doubt they muttered ‘art students’.
