Our community is divided over how to mitigate the spread of Covid-19. In a poll of teachers the outcome was 50/50. If 60 parents show up at a Board meeting to speak it is 30 on one side, 30 on the other. One group remains in agreement--LOCAL doctors.
Yesterday, Superintendent Hanna sent a letter to Gov. DeSantis and Ed Comm. Corcoran asking for flexibility to issue a temporary masks requirement for kindergarten through eighth grade students. Read the letter here:
Our students are sending us signals every day. If you watch just one video today, take one minute to watch this and start a conversation in your family. Leon Schools is committed to doing all we can for our students. Together we can change the life of a child.
