I’d say my goal to not acquire any new books over the past 90 days has gone really well.🤷♀️ Several though are gifts from thoughtful friends, a number are used bookstore finds, a few from neighborhood free libraries, and 4 are new new. At least they’re on shelves.😉

Books I read in October. Hardwick, Barnes, Adnan, Quin & NDiaye were all first time reads for me, all fabulous. Also loved AFTER SAPPHO (paired w/Carson) & A HORSE AT NIGHT, which both added many new titles to my tbr. And Woolf’s early journals were the perfect bedtime reading.

Musée de Cluny is GORGEOUS & now one of my favorite museums in Paris! Set on the site of Gallo-Roman thermal baths & a place of residence for the Abbots of Cluny in the 15th century, the museum is dedicated to medieval art, including The Lady & the Unicorn tapestries.

I’m home from spending 4 days in the fresh mountain air with my beloved book club. We ate delicious food, drank wine, puzzled, read a play together, relaxed on the deck, went for walks & enjoyed each others’ company. I’m so grateful for these women.💛
