Still stunned by that large away Dorking Wanderers turnout last night. I thought that bringing 250-300 would be a great turnout, how wrong I was (in a good way!) Shows that good positive football doesn't go unnoticed!
Same again at Shots, Bromley, Wealdstone etc please!

The standard response from Chelsea fans is that this wasn't even their biggest match in the last week, so they couldn't be bothered.
Compare to Palace supporters when we played Hartlepool. Big HF singing section, sold out the stands and respected the fixture with full support.

Woking have a 112 year head start on Dorking Wanderers, yet have never played at a higher level.
In 1999, Dorking Wanderers were playing on park pitches without even a rope around them.
In 2007, DWFC were building their first ground. By hand.
In 24 years time from now....?

People come along out of curiosity and see a friendly, welcoming and well run operation, and do come back. On the pitch the football played is very decent too. Ambitious club, modern ground, bright future.

Both clubs now have a free Saturday
Bring the (December) Tuesday night game between the clubs forward and play it on that Saturday
Would be a bigger crowd than midweek?

Never nice to lose heavily a long way from home. The fans who go home and away all over are top people who really care. I look at all the Dorking players and can remember when they have had decent games before.

Very exciting proposals for Meadowbank Stadium have now been published, which will hugely enhance the experience for all fans but in particular the away end of the stadium 👍
Capacity would be expanded to meet the 4000 person requirement for National League football.
