My uncle owns a funeral home in our hometown Miami Florida. He called me to see if I’d be able to sing at the memorial service of Mr. Abe

I simply said “Let me open my voice and whatever comes out is pure love.” To know that this almost didn’t happen because it was planned but it was touched so many people makes my heart full. The lesson in it was even in worry, fear, nerves if your intuition says do it, do it.

I went to the musicians, great friends of mine and said “We’re doing Whitney.” They immediately went into action. We’ve never rehearsed, sang, played or had time to go over the song. We went based off muscle memory and then We were next on the program.
