One of my clients is a specialist diabetic nurse. We got her nicely controlled. One day huge sugar spike. Why? She went to a diabetic nurse update training day and the only food on offer? White bread sandwiches. Honestly you couldn't make it up..

Yep. Precisely that. By the time you're HbA1c is at the prediabetes you are way down the track. IMHO type2 diabetes is a 20y+ journey. CGM is a game changer. A normal HbA1c tells you very little if you don't know what your insulin is doing
