We are looking for
@KSHSAA
Officials for the 24-25 school year. Refs are needed at ALL levels, sports and throughout KS. Officiating is a great way to make a little extra 💵, see the game from another view 👓but also a great way to give back to the game!
Just some friendly reminders as we begin postseason 🏀:
- over the back is not a foul, quit saying it.
- 3 seconds goes away once the shot goes up, player gets a rebound still in the lane yup, 3 seconds starts again
- reaching is not a foul, how else can someone steal it?
A little taste of Mach Madness on opening night of the basketball season in Kansas. Hugoton knocks off Sunrise Christian Academy at the Hays City Shootout.
I appreciate these guys taking the time to give up their evenings so kids can play a sport they enjoy and create memories. Not very often a father gets to work with his sons. Thank you Egan’s! Nathaniel, Ed, and John.

Due to limited attendance for state football games in Kansas it did not stop Little River Fans from making the short trip to Newton to support their team outside the fenced area on a semi trailer. Gotta love rural America.
That’s a wrap for year 16 of officiating. Thanks to all the people that make memorable experiences possible for Kansas youth through interscholastic activities. Thank you to
@cpix16
for being my rock. And thanks to the amazing fraternity of sports refs. ❤️🏀

I officiated in Goddard last night to see an official working the JV game solo. He did a great job & worked his butt of so the girls could play. I was disappointed when admin said they had 2 “no shows”
Officials needed in all communities, all levels and all sports. Consider it!
With the rain water impacting Lemon Park (Pratt, KS) our softball field is a bit under water. We would like to seize this opportunity to pursue water polo and rowing for next school year for

I greatly appreciate the messages and posts reminding me that I am another year older. I was able to spend my birthday on the court giving back to the game that has given me so much and shaped me into the person I am today. Here’s to year 35!
Congrats to Josh Eilert being named West Virginia Interim Head Basketball Coach. Josh is an Osborne, KS native and is a K-State graduate. All the best in this role, Josh!

Please don’t yell at my daddy he can’t help that he is mediocre at best. If you don’t have something nice or at least funny to say, just do like me and put your fist in your mouth. He’s just trying to help in allowing me to go to day care after all.
People talking about Rams-Chiefs about an exciting high scoring game in the NFL, appearently most of these people have never taken in an 8-man Football game? 😏
Curious to see what the deciding factor was of the
#NCAABaseball
committee was to place Oklahoma in over

into the tournament?
K-State had a better conference record and was above .500 as well as better overall record along with sweeping OU in the season.
One of the most rewarding things I have ever done is to become a sports official. It has challenged me; it has allowed me the opportunity to give back to the game; it has been a rewarding experience and there is an advocacy for it.

not quite your normal stadium stop. This old ball diamond is located in Isabel, KS located in north Barber County. The Isabel Vikings called this home with light poles in the field of play and crows nest for score keepers, and concession area 🐴 🚜 🌾
Pretty proud of this guy as a father, mentor and friend. Words can’t describe how thankful I am for him. A lot of words of wisdom on this interview. Please enjoy ECTV Forum Mark Goodheart

Just goes to show how amazing 8-man football can be. St. Francis was up 36-0 against Canton-Galva in today’s

8-Player D1 Cship. Indians needed 9 more points to seal a state title due to mercy rule, instead Canton-Galva scores 66 unanswered points to claim the title.
If you can read this you are aware that we need registered officials in all sports all over our state and our country. Please consider becoming a sports official today!

If you ever get the opportunity it’s a very rewarding time and a great opportunity to give back!
It's that time of year as we are recruiting new officials in all areas of the state & for all sports for the 23-24 year. There is a scholarship opportunity that the

will sponsor any 1st year official. Contact any official or school AD for info.
And this is a snap shot of the basketball season coming to a close...

Carrie is standing, sleep deprived, Lorynn crying, Zellie coughing in my office and me just taking it all in. Simply blessed to have these girls.

Play the game now, folks. I wonder if these kids act like their parents?Bullying, inappropriate and rude. Would love to see some of these folks to and umpire/officiate.
I enjoyed the opportunity to speak about the opportunity to officiate apart of the Western Kansas Career Showcase Thursday in Sublette. It was great hearing message on people that have impacted me as well as making new connections and reconnecting with colleagues. Keep it up

I appreciate the

Shout out to my dad, Mr. G❤️ spent 2 years in the classroom, many years on the sideline, 39 in school admin role as well as many years contributed to officiating and area supervisor along with currently in a commission role for classes 1A-6A. Love ya pops, congrats! 📚🏈🪚🎓🤜🤛
Dad has seen a lot from a sports official, parent, coach and administrator. Now as a commissioner, I appreciate the work he does for us as officials.
