We were not a silent spectator. In 2009 we were in constant touch with both LTTE and government to avoid the mass murder. We offered Prabhakaran with Indian and US support to evacuate all the Tamil civilians as well as LTTE soldiers and cadres. Prabhakaran refused the offer.
