Never have I ever felt the true force of the wind until last night. I’m loaded in this pic parked.Highway is a sheet of ice. The wind literally blew my trailer sideways towards the shoulder. Scary stuff.

Highways are completely closed. West of kindersley Saskatchewan traffic is piled up everywhere for a five mile stretch. Highway department been aware but not helping out until they say they can see. So God sent us a farmer

Its been a pretty hectic day for alberta. This fire started up couple miles south of my place. With help of everyone an cutting fence got 400 yearlings to safety. Now we are in the truck flying up to northern alberta to help evacuate animals, try get 200 yak to safety.

Today I turned another year older and on my birthday got the privilege to meet the ranch mascot. Toby. He’s a 20 year old bull. Orphaned as a baby an raised by the family’s kids. Friendly as ever. Made my day. He was happy for some scratches and I was happy to give him some.

Today was a trailer rocking day and I mean rocking !! They shook me down the hwy all 600 Miles. These are the big players of the game. Herd Bulls. So awesome!

Didn’t even make it out of the wilson factory and we were dirty.Did a good wash and pulled the winter boards out.Gotta get a PDI done and some minor fixes then were filling it full of bison.We will have exceptional air flow and strenght for them.

It’s seems like January dragged on forever but We were cleared by doc on Thursday, casts came off we are good to go. Not quite 100% but we are dang close. Got the outfit hooked up we are loading the wagon full of bison tomorrow.

Pretty calm bunch of heifers. Just about to the point of being to calm. Owner said she hand feed them like pets which is fine but it can make the unloading part rather difficult because no one will want to move. It could be a 15 min unload to a 3 hour ordeal or a campout.

New red underglow. I ordered this truck when my dad was still alive.He loved the color red so that is the color I picked. Unfortunately i lost him before the truck arrived to a stroke on new years eve 2021. Its become more of a sentimental thing for me in memory of him.Shiney red

Year ago today we were unloading these boys in Colorado an things took a turn for the worse. Slipped off the top of my trailer breaking numerous bones.Stranded for days not being able to go lucky could have been killed. Unloaded same place same week today

Escape hatches are an absolute must in a trailer. Saved my butt a lot of times and you learn to move extremely quick. It’s not if, it’s when an when things are looking sketchy it’s out for me.

Got the BC bison kicked off last night. Scrapped the wagon out. Got a little spoiled last night also. Producer bbq me a juicy bison steak with couple glasses of Pendleton whiskey (only the best) to top off the night. Reloaded these spit fires this am an we are south bound.

Not my truck but it is my wagon and she’s full of bison. I may be broken but we gotta keep the business rolling. It’s been pretty tough sitting around doing nothing not going to lie. Can’t wait to get back into the drivers seat when the time comes.

Its been one heck of a day. 2 farm pick ups an pulled in an out of both places. Then theres the herd bulls .A whole lot of attitude an the size to back it up.When they are grunting an stomping the ground before you even start to load watch out cause things are getting dangerous
