@ThePOTSPostman Your life has value. Chronic illness forces people to get off the “hamster wheel” of supposed success, forcing them to slow down, to accept, to be. And the grace achieved through this journey is transcendent. I have learned so much from this group. Grace. Wisdom. Kindness.

@bigfatsurprise @KetoCarnivore @NutritionwJudy 63 years old. Struggled to lose menopausal weight gain. HbA1c became Prediabetic. Ketogenic Diet was good for blood glucose (and night vision improved!) but not good for weight loss. Switched to Carnivore Diet (avoiding dairy) and have lost 15lb effortlessly. Amazing!

@ThePOTSPostman I visited my brother who was a Peace Corps volunteer in Mali, West Africa. They valued human connection over all else. When they would see people across a great distance they would yell to each other. “I see that you are working!” or, if elderly, “I see that you are being.” ❤️

Diets that are chronically deficient in choline can result in fatty liver (though it’s not the only cause), regardless of how healthy the remainder of the diet is. At least 25-30% of the population has fatty liver – probably more – and the rates skyrocket in the later decades
