My first favourite spurs player. Criminally underrated outside of spurs due to injuries. No suprise that when fit, england managers always found a place for him. Even when Beckham arrived, they found a place for both which speaks volumes. Teddy and Anderton link up was special

Purely fatigue imo... first half it worked extremely well, we had a great high press leading to us intercepting and making massive chances. Second half the press from the front four dropped off due to fatigue, leaving the two outnumbered in the middle. The subs improved us too
