One week in, and the breakout card for Pioneer appears to be Sheoldred the Apocalypse. It's unusual to see a 4cmc creature with no ETB succeed, but the statics coupled with enormous 4/5 stats makes it likely to stick around and turn the corner. How has Sheoldred been for you?

Without a doubt, The One Ring is the breakout card of LTR Modern. The protection it provides on the commitment turn is outstanding, and drawing 6 cards (that's a LOT!) means you will overwhelm your opponents. Best part? It plays great in multiples.

First Modern Challenge in a hot minute, I finished 5-3 with Grist Heliod (inspired by coert) after going 16-4 in leagues. I think the deck is good, and am a big fan of the synergy of Voice of Resurgence and Grist the Hunger Tide!

In 6 leagues of RW Energy, I have gone 5-0, 3-2, 5-0, 5-0, 4-1, and now 5-0 again. This puts me at 27-3 ⚡⚡

We had Domain Zoo and Domain Rhinos, but we are rapidly seeing more and more archetypes adopt the Domain package in Modern. It's one thing to experiment and meme, but it's starting to feel like we *should* be playing it in as many decks as possible. What are your thoughts?

I haven't liked Mardu as much as RW. Lightning Bolt and Blood Moon are better ⚡⚡
