Airline life is kinda weird, socially, especially with larger companies. We had never met before and it could be months or years before we meet again. Still, we hung out like we were all buddies. A randomly chosen group of “friends for a day”. #pilotlife

We were a bit on the heavy side coming in and it’s a hot day out there. The numbers were pretty tight for the short runway, so we took a turn in the hold to get the longer one. Why slam it down and cook the brakes if you don’t have to? #avgeek

@nypost - the “Boeing” part is irrelevant; they don’t make the engines. - it’s a compressor stall, not an engine fire. - the “holy crap” comment, to be clear, came from the people recording the video, not the crew.
