WOW! The Chica Show, Dot, Terrific Trucks, Where's Waldo, Powerbirds, Home, Nina's World, The Big Fun Crafty Show, and Floogals all return to Universal Kids for Christmas Eve! This is a very shocking surprise!
This just feels odd though cuz UKids is mainly the TV home for DreamWorks stuff.. and didn’t they say when they quit original content they were gonna focus on DreamWorks content, they haven’t been doing that for a while and this haven’t been it.
After not getting a new show in about 2 years, Superbuns, a Peacock original, premieres on Universal Kids on Sunday, April 28, as a marathon through 9:30am-4pm CST.
Strangely, after the recent announcement about Universal Kids Resort, and according to UKids’ website, as there is a “Resort” tab, the upcoming resort seems to be for the channel. Could this be a new twist for Universal Kids?
Tbh, Universal Kids needs a new rebrand cuz their current one feels pretty broken, there were no special idents for the returning shows and most stuff it had for their branding was removed and feels pretty lazy.
You are pretty much not going to be surprised and pretty disappointed when you hear this: this is a LIE. this was yet just placeholders on the schedule. So these shows are not coming back to schedule and Cocomelon is still staying on UKids. Unbelievable.
NBCU has shut down Style/Esquire, G4 (Original), NBCSN, Chiller, Cloo, and now The Olympics Channel. Im willing to bet Universal Kids is next. Like I said a few days ago, all of the Universal Kids owned programs that aired on Universal Kids are now exclusively on Peacock.

Norman Picklestripes, Floogals, Dot, and Nina’s World return to Universal Kids for their Christmas specials along with Terrific Trucks, on Saturday, December 9, at 9am-12pm CST.
Kody Kapow and Nina’s World prominently return to Universal Kids’ schedule on Monday, April 29th with the former airing through 11am-1pm CST, and the latter through 11pm-2am CST.
So it’s true. Puss in Boots the movie did air on Universal Kids today. After all the placeholder lies about airing an unknown movie, they finally air a movie again. Oh and, Puss in Boots actually did play twice lol.
So I figured out something:
this weekend + Monday… was Puss in Boots, Polly Pocket, and Home.
then next weekend + next Monday, is Dragons, more Dragons, and Go Jetters.
This must mean that UKids is now starting to bring back shows only on weekends.
Dinotrux indefinitely returns to Universal Kids’ schedule replacing The Adventures of Puss in Boots’ slots starting Tuesday, December 19 at 1am-3am CST.
Looks like Universal Kids is keeping the schedule after Christmas Day a surprise. Currently listed as placeholders. It can be assumed since that Christmas Eve glowup, Universal Kids is actually trying to improve again.
I’ve said this many times and I will again. Universal Kids, come on now. You’re 5 now. Why you don’t wanna do things anymore? Your shows and stuff are becoming legendary now and yet you still want nothing to do with them. UKids, please give bring back what you originally were.
This just feels odd though cuz UKids is mainly the TV home for DreamWorks stuff.. and didn’t they say when they quit original content they were gonna focus on DreamWorks content, they haven’t been doing that for a while and this haven’t been it.
Most of the time I wonder why all majority of Sprout/UKP videos still be on the Peacock Jr YT channel once it changed to that, and exactly NONE of the shows are even on Peacock, well accept for some, but still can’t they technically transfer to the UK channel
So here is the timeline of UKids:
2017: Launched and started off pretty decent
2018: Has become pretty huge with a lot of stuff they brought
2019: rebrands and slowly started killing off UKids Preschool, decides to halt original programming, and also slowly starts to become bad
What a huge surprise after something like this has been skipped for 2 years and now is finally being done again!
This really could be a possible rerise of Universal Kids!
Gabby's Dollhouse will begin airing on the Nick Jr channel next month - for real this time. FIrst time since 2018 that a Nick channel has aired a Dreamworks show.
Probably in promoting of The Last Wish, and after a long time they’ve aired a movie, Puss in Boots (2011) premieres on Universal Kids for the first time on Sunday, December 18, at 1pm CST, and twice at 3pm.
Well then. The Ollie & Moon Show is now removed from Cartoonito on HBO Max. As it was the only past UKids original to be on the service, it is now completely homeless. You’re now out of luck and will never see the 2 cats again.
- The Ollie & Moon Show
- Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures
- some Sesame Street specials
- Summer Camp Island
- The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo
- The Runaway Bunny
- Theodosia
- Tig n' Seek
- Uncle Grandpa
- Victor and Valentino
- Yabba Dabba Dinosaurs
What the fuck?

June 7
Butterbean’s Cafe (season 1)
June 21
The Penguins of Madagascar (season 1)
June 28
Side Hustle (season 2)
Universal Kids has appeared to have gotten even sadder. Looks like on Monday, June 27, Dinotrux will leave the schedule again and will be replaced with Cocomelon for the rest of a day.
Once again, at the start of December, UKids does absolutely nothing to start off the season. No Sprout/UKP shows or any past show return, no Christmas specials (pretty unlikely). Just going to be another boring Christmas for UKids.
Go Jetters, Powerbirds, and Where’s Waldo returns to UKids on Saturday, December 2 for their Christmas specials, at 9am-11pm, and again on 5pm -7pm CST.
WOW! The Chica Show, Dot, Terrific Trucks, Where's Waldo, Powerbirds, Home, Nina's World, The Big Fun Crafty Show, and Floogals all return to Universal Kids for Christmas Eve! This is a very shocking surprise!

Actually terrible news.
After Christmas Day, Universal Kids resumes its same old boring schedule, and the mass amount shows only return for just Xmas Eve and Day.
What a fucking shame.
Yesterday, it’s been 5 years ago since The Sunny Side Up Show has ended on Sprout since August 11, 2017, in favor of Universal Kids’ launch. Rest In Peace, you will be missed, The Sunny Side Up Show.
Mighty Mike, the second longest running show following Masha, after 2 1/2 years of run since September 2, 2019, has left Universal Kids.
You can still watch the show again on Hulu, the Universal Kids app and On Demand.
UKids new schedule in the morning on Tue, Aug 30:
1-3a - Puss in Boots
3-5a - Cocomelon w/ Babble Bop (wow lmao)
5-7a - Trolls
The rest of the schedule is just from the yesterday day (29th), this is only the new change on early Tuesday midnight and morning.

DreamWorks gets more spotlight on Universal Kids.
What’s so frustrating about UKids’ page on Wikipedia, that you can’t even add anything about its decay (and not even UK Preschool ending) because of this one thing, there’s no reliable source about it. so even if you say it’s true, the admins still revert your addition anyway.
Masha and the Bear is currently the longest running show on Universal Kids, since July 17, 2017 (aired while it was Sprout before UKids), did not even leave once.
Despite that this show is a Russian cartoon, as of what’s going on with issues between Russia and Ukraine, Quite surprising that Universal Kids didn’t stop airing this show.

Cartoonito is turning into old PBS with having aired Caillou & Pocoyo and airing Thomas and Friends and now Barney. Heck… would not be surprising if Bob The Builder gets picked up. And via Max is Sesame Street.
