Shout out to these 2 boys who competed in a loaded mile at @FestivalofMiles. Karanveer tripped at the start but finished 6th in 4:37 while Kass Kurzynski finished 10th in a PR of 4:41.82 for 1600! Karanveer will compete at Brooks PR in Seattle in 2 weeks for some redemption!

4x8 finished 10th in the state with a time of 9:24.89. Bittersweet ending to an amazing season but always proud of this crew. Thank you to our seniors for an amazing 4 years and all you have done for our team 🧡🐾

From 28 kids during covid in a tiny room, to 49 kids at the IESA state meet! This goes beyond our wildest dreams. So proud of every kid today, whether they won a medal, PR'd or even just those that got to experience the state meet, which is a great accomplishment to just qualify!

The most decorated Thomas T&F athlete of all time. Nora qualified for 8 state events over the past 2 years, and she medaled in ALL 8 of them. She broke 7 Thomas records and even 2 IESA records. What an honor to have witnessed this generational talent and her successes!!

Ellie also performed well at discus as a 7th grader!! Looking forward to build on her success for next year!!

Brayden also capped a great weekend for discus placing 20th at State!

To cap off the season, our 8th grade girls 4x4 team placed 4th ALL STATE with a time of 4:17.34. They won their heat in the ‘slow/first’ heat out of 3 and placed 4th overall!!! So proud of these girls! We will miss them incredibly.

🚨🚨🚨 Breaking his OWN Thomas record that he broke last weekend at Sectionals, Kass does it again! 2:06.69 placing him 5th at the 800m race. 👏👏👏

Nora with ANOTHER Thomas record. 🚨🚨🚨 What an incredible race. She has one more race to go, but she will leave her Thomas career with SEVEN broken TMS records on the board!! 6th ALL STATE for the 800m race with a time of 2:26.05.

Proud of these 7th girls as our alternate had to step in for the 4x100m the morning of the event. Weren’t able to practice our exchanges AT ALL but still finished their race strong! Looking forward to a BIG bounce back for next season, but way to finish this track season ladies!!

Thomas nearly wins the 7th grade 4x200 with Anne Park, Nora Eitz, and Laila Saladino. Molly Juknelis and Katelyn Mikusa help LZ North to 8th place and 7th grader Lana McKendree helps Barrington Prairie to 9th.
