Jeffrey Lurie’s hiring process for head coaches is the best in the NFL. He’s found three diamonds in the rough now that nobody talked about until he interviewed them. Andy Reid was a QB coach who relayed play calls. Doug was an OC who relayed calls until 3 months before his hire.

Seeing a lot of misunderstanding about the ball placement here. By no means is this a bad or inaccurate throw. This is the opposite. It’s elite placement on a body shield throw against leverage. If he put it any further upfield, it’s incomplete. It’s taught and drilled this way.

Isaac Seumalo is going to be a valuable addition for Pickett. Few linemen in the NFL can see the play happening and diagnose intent before the ball is ever snapped like he can, and one of them just happened to play next to him so he rarely got the credit he deserved.

As far as any offensive lineman the Eagles draft, it’s funny how nobody will ever have the nerve to question it, myself included. You can just chalk it up to being a great pick already. Nothing happens with the OL room unless Jeff Stoutland approves it.
