Atletico were literally relegated in the 2000s. Let’s be objective here, Real Madrid and Barcelona in 2013 with basically peak versions of Legends across the pitch are better than all the prem sides today. Diego Simeone won the league AND got to a CL final Without any investment.

Yep - Vini is SO well rounded it's crazy. People have focused on his improved finishing but he's genuinely made a bigger leap in his passing. Vini's really worked on his technique and now enjoys pulling off a killer assist. Sometimes he spams the trivela too often but all good.

It's really because of the decline of Spanish football but tbh we've only bought one French player recently? Mendy. Benzema was over a decade ago and Varane was like 8 years ago now. French football has been on the rise - their players are everywhere now.
