I was 44 when I came up with the idea for SupersizeArt. These were the first 3 painted in November 2009. I showed them to my Dad and he said. “This must be some kind of record” All were family singles which had belonged to my big sisters, Melanie & Melissa. They changed my life.

On this day in 1977 The Jam released their first single 'In The City', which peaked at No. 40 in the UK charts. The Jam achieved 18 other Top 40 hits including four UK No.1's.
On this day in 1986 Robert Palmer went to No.1 on the US singles chart with 'Addicted To Love', it made No.5 in the UK. Palmer originally recorded the song as a duet with Chaka Khan but due to contractual problems her voice was removed.
