Stop-motion has become such a lost art in the Roblox animation community to the point where people either immediately jump to the conclusion that the animation presented in my video was made with keyframes via an animation editor, or doesn't understand the process entirely. --

And honestly I don't blame them. Stop-motion has always been overshadowed by keyframe animation so people rarely ever do it anymore, and for good reason. Keyframe obviously yields results WAYYY quicker and has much less amount of workload in comparison to stop-motion, --

I really have no reason to be using stop-motion as a medium myself other than to preserve an artform, but it's astonishing to see a majority of people still recognizing the effort that goes through making these types of animations.

which pretty much makes it very beginner friendly. To be frank, there's little to no pros to using stop-motion rather than keyframe, and the popularity shift from stop-motion to keyframe in the Roblox animation community was completely understandable and inevitable. --

Routine
First time drawing with a drawing tablet and honestly I really like how it turned out here! Might not fully transition from using a mouse just yet but so far, it's been a pleasant experience.

UPDATE!! We got the game!
Just got it yesterday with my buddy and I'm already bordering on 24 hours of playtime. Immediately fell in love with the atmosphere of the game, and the controls feel smoother than ever. If you haven't already, PLEASE buy it. Worth the 350 robux IMO.

Once a f2p, always a f2p. First played back in 2017, and rediscovered in late 2020. With 438 hours spent on Legacy, I was able to get everything you could get without paying. I'd give the devs a few bucks, but the only way I could show support right now is by playing their game.

Well it's been almost 5 months now and I think it's safe to say that this project has been scrapped 😭 BUT but but but I have been working on a DIFFERENT animatic that I will most likely voice act and hopefully I'll be able to finish that one instead lmao

Happy new year everyone!
Personally, 2023 wasn't very eventful and even unproductive at some points. There were a few hiccups here and there but I guess that goes with just about any other year. Though, the mundanity of this year is something I can appreciate. A break, of sorts.

PLEASE there was this one game I played back in 2017 made by a dev group called seven levels, which had a very similar theme to this game. It's privated now, I'm guessing due to the constant roblox updates ruining scripts in games back then. Real excited for this to release tho!!
