The future track of #95L will be dictated by the strength and intensity of the Bermuda High currently established across the subtropical Atlantic. Two "camps of thought" persist on the euro ensembles; a stronger high will favor camp #1 , a weaker high will favor camp #2 .

As we monitor the Western Caribbean for tropical mischief later this week, There are still unanswered questions about the long term setup. Small changes/differences in these variables can have large implications for track and intensity of any potential system.

While this in a opinion piece, it’s important to provide some context. - There is a *ranking system* for excessive rainfall that is standardized across the entire United States. - There was well-in advance messaging/warning that this pattern wasn’t a regular summertime pattern.

#Thread : The NHC is now giving a 40% chance of tropical cyclone development over the next five days. The remnant moisture and vorticity from Hurricane Agatha *may* allow for the development of a new low pressure system north of Mexico.

May 30 @ 8 AM - NHC is monitoring an area near the Yucatan for a medium chance of tropical development later in the week. The South Florida forecast calls for a wet, unsettled weather pattern this week. This is a good reminder that hurricane season is about to start. #flwx
