I have to completely disagree. This was the best way to write this. It makes way more sense to acknowledge all those shortcomings than to pretend they never happened. This way we can properly move on from all that mischaracterization of Tails. Completely ignoring it is dishonest.

The problem is I watched the English dub and in that version this scene is completely different. Tails isn’t angry with Sonic, he’s just upset Cosmo is gone. In that version, I think Sonic should’ve hugged Tails.
