So the end game has arrived
198 Democrats voted to allow illegal aliens, that's right not "iMmIgRaNtS" but illegal aliens who broke a law the moment they set foot on American soil, to vote in federal elections.
The sovereignty of this country is in peril as foreign actors from
Okay, I don't ever do this and it feels weird, but if anyone likes homestead stuff, snarky humor, some spiritual, and pro 2A commentary, can you give me a follow? I'm stuck here and have been for a while now. Thank you so much
@TheRubberDuck79
Ross Perot was the first person I ever voted for. Everyone laughed at me and called me a clown for voting for him.
Nobody's been f*cking laughing about what he predicted for a long time now

It's not comfort.
It's control over her. No one should be touching one another once the match has ended
Look at the smirk on his face
September 12th and I just picked another 4.5lbs of figs. In previous years production would've dried up 10 days ago.
That's 62lbs of figs from 2 trees, shattering my last best total from 3 years ago of 34lbs. Over twenty thousand calories in just figs. By far my best producing

If I shoot through a piece of paper it makes a hole basically the size of the projectile.
No resistance
Two,three, ten pieces of paper, same.
If I stack two reams of paper and shoot it?
Resistance, cavitation, big damage.
It's still paper in both cases, but it's the mass being
For everyone who recently followed, thank you very much. I Im afraid to keep following back for fear of ending in timeout. I will resume tomorrow until all the FB's are complete.
For all my mutual that have been with me, sorry you had to read a lot of thank you's. More to come.
Do you have cash on hand at your home?
Food?
Water?
Fuel?
Hopefully this will be resolved quickly, but if not do you think you will see now why being at least marginally prepared is a good idea? A week of preps can be accumulated fairly quickly
Still low energy after the knee surgery but we took care of processing some more figs and got some exciting news that a local market wants to sell our honey. This will be our first retail outlet, until now we have just sold to friends and family on request.
No because I can my own.
Usually about 35 quarts a year
After the investment of lids ~ $100) I'm good to go for years. I use the reusable lids. I've had them for years now so I'm guessing $1.50/jar and no chemicals you can't pronounce
Never been accused of being a carpenter, nor claimed it. However I educated myself on it, did my best, & built my coop & run. Much from recycled lumber. Adding the gutter is the first step in the next phase, rain catchment. The info's out there, you just have to jump into it
@rangermonk1
Don't forget the resonance coefficient which is extremely elevated with .223 rounds. That alone can cause a destabilizing effect on the ionic bonds which hold bone together, resulting in an exothermic reaction similar to throwing gas on a fire, with similar explosive results.
Made it through
Didn't become Magneto, but also didn't have a screaming claustrophobic hissy-fit so I'm good with that
Thank you for all the well wishes
Two different plants; that center fruit always ripens 1st. Keep picking everyday bc as they ripen & you pick the plant will use that energy to ripen the other fruits.
Plus these are bird magnets. You don't want to lose too many to them!

She said she forfeited because she'd "never been hit that hard in her career by anyone" and that she knew there was no way she could win
I'm sure that's what she dreamed of for years as she put in countless hours training and exercising. For the chance to be hit in the face by a

Two weeks past partial knee replacement and things are def on the upswing. Nothing stops just because you are incapacitated. Still preserving figs, salsa, pickles, and taking care of chickens. Wife and daughter been working double-time to keep things going.
Anyway here's
The chickens free-range every afternoon & I lock them in once they return to the coop at night.
Apparently I lost 4 birds sometime in the late afternoon to predators, including my rooster. I didn't realize until I checked them today. RIP Taurus, Heavy Cream, Light Cream, Henna
Come on down and let’s see how that works out for you bro.
City dwellers that think that they stand a chance against countryfolk when the SHTF are hilarious.
Thank you everyone for all the follows!
We'll now be serving a light brunch, please mingle and get to know each other. Once brunch is finished our 78

My life & overall outlook became infinitely better when I stopped grinding over what other people have & focused instead on the peoole & circumstances I'm grateful for in my own life.
It's hard at 1st, but gets easier. Today I am grateful i could afford new tires on the truck

Yesterday I took these photos and forgot to post. These dark hens were a gift and I'm curious of their breed. I have no idea. The dark shiny I believe might be Orpington. Any ideas, They lay light brown eggs.

Holy crap! When I started this afternoon I had 495 mutuals. I asked for a few more to push me over 500. I expected a dozen or so.
This is overwhelming and I can't keep up. I will make sure to FB everyone & thank you everyone, old or new, who is following. You are a blessing.
You're looking at 10lbs of figs from one day picking. Most will go to fig mead once the weather cools, for now in the freezer. More will go to fig butter.
If you live Zone 7 or better and aren't planting figs, you're missing out. Even if you don't like them you can dry and sell
Gm
My zinnias still going strong. Should mean plenty of reseeding for next year in this bed. How is your morning? I'm off to pre-op visit for my partial knee replacement coming up in 2 weeks
@justice_Tyr22
Love the info. You just added another reason for my "Don't get on a submarine list"
1. They go deep underwater
2. Long periods sealed in a confined space
3. Don't see sunlight for days on end
4. Smells like chemical BO farts
Expanding the garden bc I heard home gardening is bad for the environment. Apparently the materials we use are too carbon intensive.
How am I doing? Will the planet survive my wanton mayhem as the sequestered carbon is released?
@BowTiedRanger
I wondered about several things as I watched the videotape
Several officers looked stiff and unsure of themselves as if they had little practice with what they should be doing.
Still learning bread baking. Longer time working the dough and shorter time on second rise and I finally have a product that resembles something edible
@vrexec
My wife handles all our daily finances. Once a month we sit down and go over everything and she tells me what went where and to how much to who.
I refer to it as The Sermon on the Amount.

We're away and temps are soaring. A friend stopped by to check on the girls and make sure they were good on food and water as well as snag the eggs as our thank you. She said they're doing fine.
At least twice a week I prepare a meal with only what came off my property. Sometimes it's quite eclectic
Two things are evident from these pictures. I need a source of meat, and Daisy is very confident she's getting some potatoes.

Knee is really swollen and the only thing I've managed is collecting eggs, feeding the birds, and picking the garden
Back inside now with leg up. I know I'll be sidetracked totally for a few weeks but I can't wait for this surgery.

9 years ago I interviewed for a job in my field. Business run by 2 brothers. They were enthusiastic at 1st, then ghosted me after & wouldn't give an answer & acted strangely.
Today it's reported they are being indicted on multiple fraud charges & facing 100+ years if convicted 🤷♂️
It's not easy to grow a year's worth of food for yourself unless that's your full time job. Even then it's difficult.
But if you aren't practicing your skills, learning new ones, and working in the garden to grow something on your own, then you are a creature that I wholly do not
Imagine a former president almost getting assassinated and 9 days later hardly anyone is talking about it
That's the level of insanity we're looking at
Keep your head on a swivel
SCOTUS did a thing and now the tolerant left is threatening murder and penning their violent murder fetish fantasies all over social media

The term egg hunt most surely started with young chickens. Unsure what's happening, and not in the routine of crawling in the nest box, these girls can take some time to figure out the process. In the meantime me, the Chicken Tender, has to keep eyes peeled for stray
