We are deeply saddened to share the news of the loss of a member of our T-Bird Nation. On Friday evening, July 19, Ryan Roberson, a pitcher for the Thunderbirds, passed after a year long battle with cancer. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and fellow players.
We left it all on the field. The T-Birds trailed 10-1 after four innings and 15-8 after seven innings. NMJC scored five runs in the top of the ninth to make it 15-13. The T-Birds never gave up!
Congrats to the T-Bird baseball team that finished 46-14 and Region V Runner-up!
