The Supermarine Stranraer was stationed at RCAF Patricia Bay from August 1940 until December 1942. It was used as both an aircraft for aircrew training, and for coastal/submarine patrols.

Just like riding a bike. Pilot Peter K has logged 1000 hours on the Mars and is on site at the tanker base helping get Hawaii ready for her flight to Pat Bay, which he will be piloting.

Prior to WWII Noorduyn had only sold 17 Norseman - to the RCMP. With the outbreak of war, the RCAF ordered 38 Norseman. They were used as part of the Commonwealth Air Training Plan for radio and navigation training, as well locally at RCAF Patricia Bay

Lancaster FM104 Update: A front portion of the floor has been riveted in place. The rear section is getting lined up to be riveted next. It was more heavily damaged/missing as that was the portion that was cut when it was mounted on the plinth in Toronto.

Recently 19 BCAM volunteers received training on the use of the Museum's AED device which is used in sudden cardiac arrest situations. As a result of Ralph's and Larry's excellent work, the dummy is expected to be able to participate in many future training sessions.
