Who said he would have made a difference immediately? He could have gone to Ba Sing Se during the attack and trained the other elements for 19 years and defeat the fire nation 20 years later. The war could easily have only been 20 years instead of 100 years

He is one of the best armourment, observation and conqueror haki users. He would be able to swim and so he would also gain the ability to hunt his own food and kill sea beasts like Rayleigh. His grandfather is literally what Luffy would become if he didn't have a Devil fruit

I meant everything I said but that doesn't mean Aang and Roku aren't victims just like any other avatar. That's what makes being the Avatar so unique in storytelling because no matter what they do they will have major pros and cons for their actions

The writers literally only made her avatar state weak because she would have one shotted all of her opponents,she is easily the best bender and can use more sub elements than any Avatar introduced.
This version of Korra can wash any Avatar past, present or future
