Recently in Japan, there has been an increase in Smishing attacks that uses a "𝙨t𝙧a𝗇𝗀e 𝙛o𝙣𝗍".
The behaviour of this Smishing attack differs based on the User-Agent, and abuses Duck DNS. 🦆

Let me clarify, by the “Japanese cybersecurity community”, I mean the “corporate”, “formal”, “government” ones. The underground white hacker community in Japan is completely different, and much more accepting of neurodivergents, young talents, etc!
We gather at 2600 every month!

I’ve seen many talents who were taken advantage of, then ostracized after they shined too bright.
We have a saying “The nail that sticks out gets hammered down”.
If you shine bright, go international.

Also, ableism too. Being neurodivergent and trying to fit in Japan’s culture is really difficult.
They really need to realize that most cybersecurity talents are neurodivergent, especially if they’re trying to resolve the “lack of cybersecurity talents” issue in Japan.
