As I ride in this morning, a needle and other stuff on the streetcar. Another person sprawls out sleeping at the back. Supports & shelter in this city have been cut to the bone under Tory, but his comms tell us otherwise. It wasn’t like this before. Never in my 22 years here.

While fighting against the provincial government seems difficult, their plan relies on a private company. One company part of the original plans has already pulled out. Entirely plausible to imagine Therme could decide the controversy isn't worth it.

Condo developers, this is how you build for the future. Some key details: - building is 6 yrs old - this only shows about 2/3 of the room - if you think it looks empty, YoY usage continually increases. If the city keeps building safe cycling infra, then it'll keep increasing

My mom passed away from cancer 11 days ago. I can't imagine her going through her treatments and her final stay in hospital during all that is going on now. My heart goes out to cancer patients and other people that need regular medical treatment during this time.

@drgurner Exactly. The analogy I use with mentees is that everyone is like a histogram with spikes and valleys. You win by amplifying the spikes. You should only care about the valleys to make sure they aren't too low that they'll sabotage you.

Most have mistakes (not a big deal), but the important thing is what the contributions of the work are. If the contributions are unclear and the content inchoherent, that's an issue.
