As I ride in this morning, a needle and other stuff on the streetcar. Another person sprawls out sleeping at the back. Supports & shelter in this city have been cut to the bone under Tory, but his comms tell us otherwise. It wasn’t like this before. Never in my 22 years here.

While fighting against the provincial government seems difficult, their plan relies on a private company. One company part of the original plans has already pulled out. Entirely plausible to imagine Therme could decide the controversy isn't worth it.

Metrolinx CEO Phil Vester should resign over this. A simple following of existing procedures would have saved this woman's life. It requires a deeply negligent culture for this tragedy to happen in the face of an employee doing everything to stop it.
According to this article, despite the pleas of a customer safety officer, GO Transit wouldn’t stop a train from proceeding on a busy Sunday afternoon, striking and killing a woman who was on the tracks.

My mom passed away from cancer 11 days ago. I can't imagine her going through her treatments and her final stay in hospital during all that is going on now. My heart goes out to cancer patients and other people that need regular medical treatment during this time.

I walk this route almost every day. This is the dumbest comment possible because the cause of congestion (other than the cars themselves) is right there in the video. It's the construction that, I might add, is extremely poorly planned and laid out.
Congestion on University is out of control.
Look at how many cars are at a stand still - with a bike lane for a single cyclist to go by.
