In July 2016 I had run out of couches to crash on and was dead broke so I started driving for Lyft. I drove every day for the next 9 months and scheduled free shoots in between to build my portfolio. Passengers would laugh at me. I keep this on my desk as a reminder. Never stop.

I’ll be completely honest. 2020 broke me and November was an example of that. I sold a print or 2 but I didn’t make enough to pay my rent that month. My savings were erased and I was under a mountain of debt. Looking back a year later, I am so happy I didn’t give up on my art.
