Feeling safer doesn’t mean feeling safe here though. As a British Muslim, I don’t feel safe with how much islamophobia there is. I guess being visibly Muslim and female contributes to that. Guys have it much easier. Living in harmony still doesn’t seem to do us any favours.

We are told to give to the poor. Anyone can be poor. Muslim and non Muslim. Donating to causes abroad tend to be in the east in places that are Muslim dominated but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t go to others too.

The key word in that website link is “VISIT”. Refugees wouldn’t be visiting. As I said before, they aren’t going for 2 weeks in the sun. I recommend you look into the human rights violations and why refugees would be at risk of having their rights violated.
