Happened in my daughters’ year in ‘22. Lots of kids got into schools they should not have gotten into. Some flunked out including one at UCLA nursing after the 1st quarter! All the kids knew it would happen.

Wow they changed the language. Just a few years ago the top 11% in each California high school class was guaranteed admission to at least 1 UC which was UC is Merced.
Now they changed the language to 9% “if space is available.” That’s our tax $!!!!

I have TSA precheck. I did not mind giving them my fingerprints because they already have them as part of a business license I hold. But traveling last week they escorted me to a clear check machine to scan my irises which they don’t have. When I refused, I felt targeted.

At age 12 Californian parents no longer have access to their kids medical records which is ridiculous since parents are responsible for paying the medical bills. They can also get hormones and sex change operations without parent approval. Lock up the kids.
